Proximity Sensor PSN17-5DN merupakan sebuah sistem sensor yang mampu mendeteksi keberadaan dari sebuah logam ataupun benda padat lainnya tanpa harus menggunakan sebuah gerakan atau kontak fisik. Sensor ini memiliki indikator LED Red, dan sangat mudah untuk mengontrol posisi. Prinsip kerja Sensor PSN17-5DN, jika benda mendekati atau menyentuh sensor, maka LED indikator dalam sensor akan menyala. Jika benda menjauh dari sensor, maka LED indikator dalam sensor akan mati.
